François Millet & Fils is a small family domaine based in Chambolle-Musigny, created by François Millet, winemaker at Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé from the 1986 vintage to 2019, with his sons Julien and Adrien; their first wines are from 2017. The grapes come from contracts with growers and are sorted, destemmed and fermented in tank, then pressed in a small vertical press and moved mostly by gravity into barrel, where the malolactic fermentation takes its time. The family bottles the wines itself, without filtration, and Winehog finds in them the restrained, classic style François Millet made at de Vogüé.
