For more than thirty years François Millet made the wines of Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé in Chambolle-Musigny, from the 1986 vintage to 2019. With his sons Julien and Adrien he started his own family domaine, based in the village at 15 rue du Carré, with a first vintage in 2017.

The grapes come from growers under contract. They are sorted, destemmed and fermented in tank, then pressed in a small vertical press and moved mostly by gravity into barrel, where the malolactic fermentation takes its time. The family bottles the wines itself, without filtration. Winehog finds in them the controlled, slightly restrained and classic style François Millet made at de Vogüé.

The range here spreads across the Côte: Marsannay in red and white, Fixin En l'Olivier, Gevrey-Chambertin Croix des Champs and Le Fourneau, Chambolle-Musigny Les Fouchères, Beaune premier cru Champs Pimont, Volnay premier cru Les Angles, and Bourgognes from the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits and Aligoté.
