The family has made wine in Vosne-Romanée since 1858 and today farms fourteen hectares around the village. When Charles Lachaux joined his mother Florence Arnoux-Lachaux in 2011, he moved the vineyard to regenerative farming and biodynamics: the vines are pruned in gobelet, trained high on the trellis, and the shoots are no longer trimmed, with sheep grazing between the rows.

In the cellar the wines have been made with whole bunches since 2012, with short macerations and as little intervention as possible. Since the 2022 harvest they have been aged in stoneware vessels instead of oak barrels.

The range here runs from the Bourgogne Pinot Fin and the village wines of Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny and Nuits-Saint-Georges to the premiers crus Vosne-Romanée Les Chaumes and Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Procès, and the grands crus Échezeaux Les Rouges and Clos de Vougeot.
