Domaine des Landions is a family property on the northern shore of Lake Neuchâtel, in the canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Denis Meier, an agronomic engineer trained at ETH Zurich, oversees the vineyard's soil science and vine selection. His son Morgan Meier, who holds a master's degree from HEC Lausanne and a French national diploma in oenology, returned to the family domaine in 2015 to take charge of winemaking. The estate takes its emblem from a Celtic stag engraving found in the canton of Neuchâtel and dated to the La Tène period, a reference to the region's older viticultural history.

The vines are split between two communes. In Vaumarcus, three soil types coexist: a shallow yellow Jura limestone with low water retention, glacial moraine left by the Rhone glacier around 15,000 years ago, and a fluvio-glacial soil further down the slope that has lost its limestone over time. In Cortaillod, the vines grow on limestone soil shaped by the Areuse river, with a rocky subsoil that drains to a depth of several metres. Denis and Morgan Meier farm without herbicides, prune late, keep full ground cover between the rows and pick at full maturity. In the cellar, grapes are sorted by hand, fermented with natural yeasts, and moved by gravity from vat to French Burgundy barrels, where the wines age for eighteen months.
