Bruno Bienaimé trained at Domaine Georges Laval, a small family estate in Cumières, Champagne, before deciding to set up on his own account in the Jura, a region he chose for its fit with natural winemaking. After three years spent looking for land, he acquired his first parcels around Arlay in 2016, made his first vintage in 2017, and later added plots near Château-Chalon.

The domaine farms 3.2 hectares of vines around Saint-Lamain and Arlay, planted to Chardonnay, Savagnin, Trousseau and Pinot Noir. Bruno works the vines by hand, without chemical fertilizers or herbicides, and ferments the wines naturally, without added yeast or other winemaking additives.
