Grusse en Billat Côtes du Jura 2009

Domaine Ganevat is a family estate at Rotalier, in the south of the Jura, run by Jean-François Ganevat and his sister Anne since 1998, after his years as cellar master in Chassagne-Montrachet. Its thirteen hectares of Côtes du Jura have been farmed biodynamically since 2006, with some twenty-five grape varieties, and the wines are made parcel by parcel, more than fifty cuvées a year. Fermentation runs on native yeasts with no additives, no sulphur, no fining or filtration, and the wines age around two years in 400-litre barrels or demi-muids. A négoce range from bought grapes is bottled under the Anne et Jean-François Ganevat name.
