Frequently asked questions
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is a flat rate per order, no matter how many bottles: €35 within the European Union and Switzerland, €45 for the rest of Europe, €90 for Asia and Canada, €105 for the United States and €150 for Oceania and South Africa. Above a certain order value, shipping is free: €500 for the EU and Switzerland, €700 for the rest of Europe, €1,500 for Asia and Canada, €2,000 for the United States and €2,500 for Oceania and South Africa.
How long will delivery take?
Within the European Union and Switzerland, most orders arrive within 5–8 business days. Count 4–8 business days for the rest of Europe, 5–7 for Asia and Canada, 8–10 for Oceania and South Africa, and around 21 for the United States. You will receive a tracking number by email once your parcel has been dispatched.
Will I pay customs duties or import taxes?
Within the European Union, nothing to pay: VAT is included in our prices. For deliveries to the United States, import duties and taxes are included in our prices and there is nothing more to pay on delivery. For all other destinations outside the EU, including Switzerland and the United Kingdom, import duties and taxes are not included; the carrier collects them on delivery, based on your country's rates.
Why do prices change when I select my country?
Prices adapt to your destination. Within the European Union they include VAT. Outside the EU they are shown excluding VAT, since your country's duties and taxes apply instead. For the United States they include import duties and taxes. Depending on your market, prices may also be displayed in your local currency.
Do you ship during hot weather?
We monitor weather conditions closely. During periods of extreme heat, we may briefly delay shipments to protect your wines. If this affects your order, we will notify you by email.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum order required. Whether it's a single bottle or a full case, we ship it with the same care and attention.
How are the bottles packaged and protected?
Every bottle is cradled in protective packaging designed specifically for fine wine, holding it perfectly in place and shielding it from movement, impact and temperature variation throughout its journey. Each shipment is prepared and sealed with the utmost care, so that your wines reach you in flawless condition, exactly as they left our cellar.
My country is not on the list. Can you still deliver?
Quite possibly. The destinations listed are those we serve as standard, but we regularly arrange shipments beyond them for our clients. Write to us through our contact page with your location and the wines you have in mind: we will study the best way to bring them to you, from carrier selection to temperature-controlled freight, and come back with a tailored proposal.
