Domaine Robert Groffier Père et Fils is based in Morey-Saint-Denis, with eight hectares of Pinot Noir in Chambolle-Musigny and Gevrey-Chambertin. The domaine looks for concentration in the grapes rather than in the cellar: low yields, ripe and healthy fruit and a restrained élevage, for wines meant to age. Since the 2014 vintage only half of each new vintage is released, the rest being held back and sold at maturity. Since 2022 its Amoureuses is bottled by soil, Argile and Sable, alongside the blend Le Mariage.
