Legendary vintage
1989, one of Bordeaux's benchmark years.
Producer signature
A Saint-Julien wine made by Léoville Las Cases since 1902 from vines set apart from its walled vineyard, their heart lying 500 metres west, among Léoville Poyferré and Léoville Barton. On older, finer gravels, they ripen later than the walled vineyard, which the Gironde warms.
In our care
