Producer signature
Domaine Naudin-Ferrand is based in Magny-lès-Villers, a village on the line between the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits and the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, and has been run by Claire Naudin since 1994. Several of her cuvées are fermented with whole bunches and without sulphur, which is added only at bottling and in small amounts; fermentations run without added yeasts and the harvest is by hand. Berry Bros. & Rudd notes that the wines show none of the harshness whole-bunch fermentation can bring, only a floral perfume, and some bottles carry the Claire Naudin label from the same cellar.
