By 2018, Hugues Godmé had spent more than ten years questioning and adjusting his approach to viticulture, a process he describes as ongoing rather than finished. The estate converted to organic farming in 2013. Hugues works the vines together with his wife Dominique, who runs much of the estate's daily operations.

The vineyard spans 7 hectares across 40 parcels, planted mainly to Pinot Noir on the slopes of Verzenay, with Chardonnay from Villers-Marmery and Pinot Meunier from Villedommange. The blended non-vintage brut, Les Fins Bois, combines 60 percent Pinot Noir with 40 percent Chardonnay. Single-vineyard cuvées are made without dosage: Les Alouettes is a 100 percent Chardonnay from Villers-Marmery, and Les Champs St-Martin is a 100 percent Pinot Noir aged in oak barrels. The estate also makes a zero-dosage, zero-sulfur cuvée in a production of only 200 bottles.

Dynamic Cellars carries three cuvées from Champagne Hugues Godmé: the 1er Cru Blanc de Blancs NV, the Grand Cru Millésimé 2012 and the Grand Cru Montagne Nord NV. Discover more grower Champagne, Grand Cru Champagne, Premier Cru Champagne and organic wines in our range.
