Producer signature
Domaine La Porte Saint-Jean is Sylvain Dittière's estate, set up in 2011 in Montreuil-Bellay, in the Loire, after he trained with the Gauby family, Thierry Germain, Château Yvonne and Clos Rougeard. His mark is long ageing in an old, cool cellar. The Guide de la Revue du vin de France singles out the long barrel ageing of his whites and finds the reds frank in expression and finely judged in their élevage.
