Producer signature
Domaine Georges Noëllat is based in Vosne-Romanée and takes its name from its founder, Georges Noëllat; from 1990 to 2009 most of its production was sold to négociants. Maxime Cheurlin, his great-grandson, took over the winemaking in 2010, at the age of twenty. He favours a long élevage in barrel, with about half new oak on average, and Winehog describes the wines as refined and light on their feet, intense without weight.
