For decades the family's vines in Vosne-Romanée were worked by métayers, sharecroppers who kept part of the harvest; Henri Jayer was one of them. Jean Méo managed the estate from 1959 to 1984. His son Jean-Nicolas settled in Vosne-Romanée in 1989, with Jayer as his mentor, and by 2008 the last sharecroppers had left, so the domaine now farms all its own vines, with organic methods but no certification. In the early 2000s the family also created a négoce, Méo-Camuzet Frère et Sœurs.

The grapes macerate cold for three to five days before fermenting on their own yeasts, and the wines age in barrel with a substantial but measured share of new oak. The holdings include the grands crus Richebourg, Clos de Vougeot and Échezeaux, three Corton grands crus, and the Vosne-Romanée premier cru Cros Parantoux.

The range here also goes north, to Fixin and Marsannay, with Vosne-Romanée premiers crus Aux Brûlées and Les Chaumes and a village Chambolle-Musigny.
