Valentin Morel came to winemaking after a degree in international law. He trained in Alsace, where he worked alongside producers Bruno Schueller and Pierre Frick, before returning to the Jura to take over his family's domain in 2014. Since then he has adopted simplified, low-tillage farming methods across the vineyard.

The domain covers 6 hectares on marl soils. Chardonnay and Savagnin make up the white grapes, while Pinot Noir, Trousseau and Poulsard go into the reds. Most vines are between 40 and 45 years old. The exception is the Bois d'Arnaux plot, planted by Valentin himself with massale selection cuttings: Poulsard from Philippe Bornard and Savagnin from Julien Labet. In the cellar he works with minimal intervention and without additions. The red grapes are destemmed, macerated and aged in stainless steel tanks, while the whites are pressed, fermented and aged in barriques.

At Dynamic Cellars, the range from Domaine Les Pieds sur Terre includes the Chardonnay Champ d'Aubert 2020, the Côtes du Jura Les Trouillots Chardonnay 2022, the Côtes du Jura Savagnin En Boutasse 2023, the Côtes du Jura Semaine 16 2017, the Savagnin ouillé En Bois d'Arnaux 2020 and the Poulsard En Bois d'Arnaux 2023. These wines sit among our Jura wines, alongside our white wines and red wines.
