Henri Felettig was the second generation to settle on the family's land in Chambolle-Musigny. In 1965 he inherited 2 hectares of vines and 1 hectare of grapes destined for the village cooperative, and 1969 was the first vintage he vinified himself. In 1973, Reine and Henri Felettig bought a larger property to expand the vineyard, and over the following two decades they purchased and leased plots until the estate reached 9 hectares in 1992. In 1993, a GAEC was formed between the parents and their children, Christine and Gilbert, turning the property into a joint family farm.

The estate's holdings extend from Gevrey-Chambertin to Beaune, by way of the Hautes Côtes de Nuits, across around 100 plots farmed under a reasoned, low-intervention approach, with sulfur and copper as the main vineyard treatments. Grapes are picked and sorted by hand, then given a cold pre-fermentation maceration of six to seven days depending on the vintage and the appellation. Fermentation is left to run its course with careful temperature control, punching down and pumping over daily to extract gently. The wines then age for 14 to 18 months in barrels sourced from the Tronçais and Bertranges forests, made by the coopers François Frères, Rémond and Rousseau, with about 50 percent new oak for the Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines and 30 percent for the village wines.
